Two doors, one building.
NVIV Wellness
A med spa and a primary care practice, same owner, same building. Both got a front door, neither an afterthought.
Case studyThe situation
One owner runs two very different practices from one building: a med spa and a membership primary care practice. The old site presented them as one list, so someone looking for a doctor and someone looking for injectables landed in the same place.
What I decided, and why
- Split the site at the front door. The homepage sends visitors down one of two paths, primary care or aesthetics, so each patient sees only what applies to them. Primary care has its own membership pricing and enrollment.
- Keep sensitive information off the website. Booking and enrollment hand patients off to IntakeQ, the practice’s existing system, rather than collecting anything sensitive on the marketing site.
- Don’t build a custom patient system. That was on the table. IntakeQ already did what they wanted, so building one would have meant paying twice.
- Put financing on the page, not behind a link. Patients apply for Cherry and PatientFi financing without leaving NVIV’s site, and their financial details go straight to the lender, never through the website.
Where it stands
In final revisions and launching soon: two clear front doors, financing built into the site, and no custom software to maintain or pay for.
